After achieving CHC53315 Diploma of Mental Health, students may continue their studies by enrolling in the following course: Bachelor Of Community Mental Health, Alcohol And Other Drugs
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, prospective students need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Diploma level, this can be demonstrated via the following:
- Pre-training review to ensure student has the appropriate level of Language Literacy and Numeracy to achieve the competencies. Where a test result is supplied, it must be within the last 12 months
- Basic computer skills
- You will need to be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum 18 years of age
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Students to be physically fit to manage tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, moving rapidly, sufficient hearing to discriminate sounds, vision sufficient to make physical assessments, communication skills/being able to communicate in verbal and written formats.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A satisfactory National Police Check (NPC) and where a student has resided in another country from the age of 16, as a permanent resident or citizen, they will be required to provide a Statutory Declaration
- A satisfactory Working with Childrens Check
- An organised industry work placement (minimum of 160hrs)
